1. Commonly called planaria and is a fresh water form of cosmopolitan distribution.

4. These animals are acoelomate, bilaterally symmetrical and are triploblastic.
5. Body wall is comprised of ciliated epidermis and has rod-like bodies-the rhabdites embedded in it.
6. Excretory organs are protonephridia and flame cells.
