Waxes are fats made of mono-hydroxy long chain alcohol and long chain fatty acids bonded together through an ester bond.
Bee Wax is composed of
1) Myrical Alcohol
2) Palmitic Acid

Waxes are fatty acid esters of long chain monohydric alcohols like cytyl, ceryl or mericyl. Other fat like substances also occur in waxes.
Major component in beeswax is ester of palmitic acid and mericyl alcohol. Second major component is ester of palmitic acid with hexacosonal.
